Have fun!
As you may have known, Nex has left the Frencoverse. This creates an urgent need for us to get certain things done in his absence; this includes fixing the templates on the wiki.
Until a while ago, we have been resalvaging and reusing templates with the tag "Nex" in there; however, these have been removed and transfered to their non-Nex equivalents. In case there's a major screw with how the templates work, I will be doing my best to fix them and return them to how they originally looked.
Please understand, and help make this transition process quicker by editing your own articles yourselves - if they happen to use Nex templates (the search bar with all options on will be a great help). Thank you for your attention; please report in case any of your articles is faulty so I can provide assistance.

The world is a treacherous place, its political map ever-changing.
So, seeing as how the map in Blak's factbook is getting a little bit old (not to mention not full-sized), I was thinking maybe we should do a series of full-sized world maps of countries in the Frencoverse; and, for the FT Main Canon, how the Earth looks after the Desolation.
Any thoughts?
Just curious; what's the current status of Africa in either canon, pre-FT/pre-WWIV?
A recent Steam conversation I had with Luna raised an interesting issue with the world of the Frencoverse. Apart from Mars (which is the centre of Red Planet), Jupiter (which gets a decent mention at the beginning of A Blood Debt) and of course the many worlds of the FT variants of our nations, there isn't really much mention made of the Solar System's other planets than Earth or what happens with them.
So the question is what do we do about them (if anything)?
new thread because holy hell, look at the recent changes page rn
anyways, so what I'm thinking of is that Luna would actually become a close Frenkish ally in the altcanon, since that seems the most sensible route if the NSC doesn't form. This could probably balance out the OWC aligning with the Mekhrus.
After contact with Earth but before formally aligning with the NFE, though, I was also thinking Luna could have a war in space with the Mekhrus or with the OWC - if it's with the OWC that could be what pushes it to align with the Mekhrus quickly, even.
altcanon Luna would be a bit different from main canon Luna too, I think - I'd at least make the Evangelion inspiration much more evident.
ofc if the commonwealth then also joins the not!NATO that's formed from luna/NFE/south america we'll have a military alliance from pole to pole and there'll be a transatlantic/pacific cold war, and it'll all be great
anyways, how does everyone feel about how stuff will/should turn out?
So, uh, I've gotten to thinking about doing something in the altcanon. Since I'm not all that interested in doing altcanon Luna, I've had the idea of possibly doing something interesting related to the Magellanic Race precursors - in all likelyhood, a smallish group of them representing the last vestige of their once intergalactic empire. Probably would be those who either didn't want to or couldn't be uplifted all those millions of years ago.
There'd be stuff about reclaiming lost knowledge, looking for other remnants, finding out what happened to the others that did try to ascend, and other things like that. Obviously, they'd be neutral as a faction and might not actually take notice of humans and the like very much.
Feel free to give feedback on the idea/raise issues with me doing this/etc pls
Here I have created a place to discuss things about what could be the Frencoverse's biggest ever RP. This is mainly to avoid clogging up both discussions on the wiki itself and telegram inboxes, but also to collate the ideas of everyone involved both before and after the RP kicks off in full.
Currently we know that Flight entails:
- Alain kidnapping infant Evgeniy Trotsky and Yulia Trotskaya, the children of Elena Trotskaya and Victor Golovkin.
- An international task force being set up to help retrieve them, leading which is the MSS Polunochnaya for which the event is named.

So stealth in space is one of the most unrealistic scifi things that could be done
so I was thinking, how about we generally agree to not have it except for highly experimental systems which are able to cloak relatively small ships?
Some of you who are eagle-eyed may notice a change to the OP for To Struggle in the Way of Allah. This is part of a little mini-project that I discussed with Fren earlier and am in the process of undertaking: essentially, it entails me rewriting all of the posts I made in my current style so that it's a little better to read, keeping to the fundamental storyline but with the fully-developed versions of my characters. I like to think of it as a sort-of 'remastering' the RP, rather like when you redo a videogame with modern graphics (you get the point, I'm sure).
The fundamental storyline is not being altered in any way, save from the very occasional addition to reflect post-completion edits made and mentioned on the wiki, and nobody will have to make any revisions to their own posts (except perhaps Fren, but he tells me he's alright with that).
Anyhow, that explains any weirdness that you'll see should you choose to reread Struggle.
what is the state of international trade like in the frencoverse
like, basically all the notable powers are continent-spanning giants (who are outright hostile or at best neutral to each other for the most part, to boot, which makes it a tad unlikely), and as such are effectively self-sufficient economies as far as I understand, so there probably isn't a need, but I am a sperg at heart and need to know these things
So, since I was bored, I converted Blak's Vaktovian triad symbol into one that can be used as an .ico file for the wiki, which can be changed in the theme designer.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wu0ca27v90bixm6/FrencoverseLogo.ico?dl=0
Instead of having the boring old wikia logo, I thought that the Vaktovian triad would make it at least 1% more eyecatching to both us and visitors; and is an integral step in personifying the wiki.
So, since we have an unused music sharing section in the theme tunes (kek), I thought we can also use an art-discovering repository. Of course, we don't claim any of said art as our own...
Unless, somehow, one of you psychoes actually commission somebody for the Frencoverse. /s
Anyways, to at least kick it off, here's one art piece to divy up that fits more of a PTI/Astral Fed./Star League(?) vibe rather than a Nexumian or Mechanocratic one.
Since I have already put my new Infobox for Characters into use on 3 pages, and Blak put it on Elena's own page, I already went and made a beta template for specific battles. However, if there is any need for more infoboxes, you can either put the suggestions down below, or:
1. Go to make a new page
2. Title the page "Template:Infobox[War/Planet/etc.]"
3. Click on infobox in the prompt menu
4. Begin constructing the Infobox with wikia modules.
Can Harrigan kill off the Hakenkreuz Fourteen (or, at least, a significant number of them)? I'm editing his page at the minute and I'm looking for reasons to emphasize that he's a bonafide hunter of supersoldiers of all kinds (not just Chthonians, the most common target they may be). I mean, by FT times, you could always just reupload their sentience into more powerful android bodies or something. Maybe they were preserved alongside Rhazien and McHaek?
Besides, I think it would be a really great bit of poetic justice to see the brutal Nazi remnants getting offed by an "impure" entity capable of exerting just as much cruelty as they possibly could.
How exactly does FTL work in the Frencoverse?
Just curious for the thoughts of everyone else, and wondering if like, all the various factions use the same method to achieve FTL speeds.
